Welcome to my new blog home!  I kinda felt like it was time for a facelift and a move to a blogasphere that had a little more to offer.  I'm loving my new home on the web.  Hope you'll stop by from time to time to see what's going on in my corner of the world, and possibly pick up a sweet little digi-treat! 

I am a wife and mother of two very busy boys.  I am completely self-taught in most of the things which I call passions (or maybe obsessions).  I am a self-proclaimed photoshop junkie, which I have learned through trial and error.  I don't do drugs...I do photoshop.  And I am sure there are times my family would like me to join a 12 step program for it.  I am an amateur photographer and all around crafty chick when I have the time to get it done.  I am a DIY kinda girl and am constantly on the prowl for a new project or at least the supplies for a new project. 

A life learner, I fell into "graphic designing" by way of a personalized candywrapping business to earn a few bucks when I left my social work position to be a SAHM following the birth of my second child.  I have always been the kinda of person who is hungry to learn something new or improve upon a less than perfected skill.  I started out using publisher, quickly acquired photoshop elements 2 at a local warehouse store, decided to take a crack at web design for some local businesses, determined that design was more my thing than programming, somehow discovered digital scrapbooking while searching for a graphic and became hooked right away, even though it would be a year before I felt ready to actually begin creating layouts.  I managed to get my paws on photoshop CS2 and my addiction really took off.  I recently purchased Artrage so I can be more artistic and hopefully become one with my wacom tablet.
